We the people of Rockland do not want our tax dollars supporting a high kill policy at Hitor. These dogs were Emma Lou Marisol, Izzy, Conner, Smokey, and Guiness. There are many more, we suspect they are euphenizing 1 or 2 a month sometimes more. These dogs were nice dogs, some were even "Pet of the Week". Recently 6 dogs were killed in 1 week at Hi Tor. Ed Day please stand up to the board at Hi Tor Animal Care Center and stop the unnecessary killings of innocent adoptable dogs.

I want the unnecessary killings of adoptable dogs stopped, and adoptions increased. I am a Rockland resident and taxpaper for many years and have seen Hi Tor Animal Care Center go from a high kill shelter to a low kill and now I am seeing it climb back to being a high kill shelter again.
